Every Thursday at 6 PM, the doors of our community center swing open. The smell of home-cooked food fills the hallway. Tables are set with real plates, not paper ones, because details matter when you're telling someone they're worth it.
This is Community Meal Night, and it might be the most important thing we do all week.
Yes, we serve dinner. Good dinner. Last week it was roasted chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans, followed by homemade cobbler. Our kitchen team takes pride in preparing food that feels like a family gathering, not a cafeteria line.
But the meal is really just the excuse to gather.
What happens around those tables is where the real ministry takes place. Conversations that start with "pass the salt" somehow end with "I've been struggling" or "can you pray for me?" There's something about breaking bread together that lowers walls and opens hearts.

Community Meal Night has become a gateway to deeper connection. Many of our small group members, volunteers, and even staff first walked through our doors on a Thursday evening.
